And damn I feel poor.
A 1961 Ferrari 250 SeriesII Cabriolet sold for $2.25 million.
Someone spent $2.25 million in (presumably) cash.
I wish I had $2.25 million just laying around to spend on a 1960s Ferrari.

Watching auctions: Showing you you'll never realistically be able to afford your dream car.

300SL: 1.3 mill.
Hear that sound? That's my dreams shattering.

never watch the last day auctions, that's when they save the 800k stingrays, 1.2 mill mustangs and multi million dollar pedigree porshe racers. The very first auctions are fun though 8k restomod whatever, 12k mustang, 20k benzo v12

I can only watch so much before I just say "Fuck this" and move on to something I can one day hope to afford.

I still can't understand why classic Ferraris that aren't rare are going for so much money. I'm not sure how many of those Ferraris were made but I know there were a lot of the classic Dinos and they are selling for over $400K now.
Does that mean we can buy a Magnum PI car now and sell it in 20 years for two million bucks?
